About Me

To know me is to put up with my, at times intense, love of the entertainment industry, the written word and long running television programs.

The passion I approach my writing with stems from the instinctual need to understand the intricacies of a topic or issue in order to present it in the most interesting, thought provoking and accurate light.

My skills ranging from investigative journalism to television writing allow me to be easily adaptable to every writing challenge thrown at me.

When I am not binging tv shows (for educational purposes of course) or exercising my writing muscle, I can be found nose first in the latest celebrity memoir, watching reruns of Sex and the City, planning a dream getaway or out on the tennis court.

My diverse range of interests in my personal life richly benefits my professional life with the broad spectrum of events and issues I am able write about or use as inspiration.

In short, I really am a popular culture fiend.

My studies in journalism has spanned three years, during which time I have written stories pertaining to business, local issues, human interest, entertainment and nation-wide issues. I have worked with my current and former local members for Parliament, Chris Crewther and Bruce Billson to produce stories that are of relevance to the community. In 2014, I interviewed Peter FitzSimons in regards to the issue of Australia as a constitutional monarchy. During my time at university I have achieved outstanding marks across my journalism practical and theoretical studies, as well as in my chosen minor, criminology. My current employer and teachers will confirm that I offer a dedicated, perceptive and unique personable approach to assigned tasks. This is combined with an ability to easily communicate with individuals from a range of cultural backgrounds and social statuses, in any environment. In addition, I bring to any job a set of established contacts in many fields of work, a constantly updating set of technological skills and most importantly a desire to work in a challenging environment.
